Vitural Mermaid March is a self guided tour that consists of ten seven-foot mermaid statues painted by regional artists installed around the city. This public art project by the San Marcos Arts Commission celebrates the art, culture and natural beauty of the city.

The 570-acre Purgatory Creek Natural Area is within the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone. Portions of the natural area are generally referred to as Prospect Park, lower and upper Purgatory.

Roughhouse Brewing is a small, family-owned and operated craft brewery located on five acres of the Pasternak family ranch. Tucked away off of Ranch Road 12, the brewery will serve refreshing, farmhouse-style beer that complements the Texas landscape.

Wimberley Glassworks is known worldwide for their beautiful hand blown glass art and lighting pieces. A visit to the gallery is unique, visitors can observe the beautiful craftsmanship of glassblowing and then shop the gallery.
