    Lions Club Tube Rental

    Closed for the season will reopen May 2020
    What a perfect way to float your cares away... bring the family, gather the old college pals, or plan a romantic tube trip for just the two of you!

    To paraphrase that old potato chip commercial, "We betcha can't float just once!"

    All tube rentals include a shuttle ride. The float trip takes about an hour and is a fun way to kick back and enjoy the good life!

    $14.00/single tube with or without bottom unlimited river shuttle rides included with rental  (Credit card can be left at Lions Office in lieu of cash deposit)

    For folks who bring their own tubes, unlimited river shuttle service is available from Rio Vista Dam back to the Tube Rental. $8 per person

    The Tube Rental is located in the City Park. The Tube Rental and River Shuttle are the major fund-raising projects of the San Marcos Lions Club.

    **note last shuttle pick up at Rio Vista Park is 30 minutes prior to closing and last tube rental goes out 90 minutes prior to closing

    San Marcos City Park

    The 18-acre park land offers picnic tables, playscape equipment, a blacktop basketball court and connects to the city's three mile jogging trails.

    River Mural Mosaic

    Designed to be a symbol of unity for the city of San Marcos, the eclectic River Mural Mosaic was restored by the Leadership San Marcos Class of 2012 along the river bank at City Park.

    The San Marcos River bubbles to life from hundreds of springs right in the city's center. Always a refreshing 72 degrees, the river is enjoyed year ‘round for tubing, kayaking, stand-up paddling, snorkeling or just soak up some sun.
