Visitors have enjoyed touring the Balcones Fault Line Cave for over 105 years at Wonder World Park, the first commercial show cave in Texas. Today, while the cave is still a highpoint, the park has many other attractions for family fun and educational entertainment.
Enjoy a guided tour and discover the nation’s only true example of an earthquake-formed cave. Go deep underground and see up close the devastation of a major quake.
Exit by the “Stratavator” and ride high into the sky to the Tejas Observation Tower. Be amazed by the Topsy-Turvy World of the Anti-Gravity House where everything is backwards, even water flows up hill!
Board the train and splash through the waterfalls of Mystery Mountain on your way to the Texas Wildlife Petting Park.
Educational and fun for all ages, Wonder World Park Cave and Attractions is open year round except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Take in our historic homes and architecture. San Marcos is fortunate to have preserved its past and many residential neighborhoods are designated as Historic Districts. The areas contain a variety of Victorian, Classical Revival, and Craftsman architecture built between 1880 and the 1940’s.
Purchased in 1996 by Jack Alves as Jack's Roadhouse, "justa a beer joint". On December 1, 2001, owners changed and bar was purchased by Floyd and Jamie Chapman. In August 2006, opened the grill and changed name to Jack's Roadhouse, "justa beer joint and grill".
Dunbar Park, a city owned park, is located at the corner of Endicott and MLK Dr. The park is seven acres and the amenities include a Playground, Basketball Court, Softball Field, Picnic Tables, Benches and Trash Cans.
