November 7 • 5:30-8:00PM • Spring Lake Preserve
Get outside in the moonlight and enjoy the outdoors. Howl at the Moon features guided hikes, kids crafts, s’mores, storytelling and live music by HalleyAnna Finlay. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp. Parking at the Meadows Center with volunteers to show you the way.
November 8 • 9am-4pm • Downtown Square
Enjoy an outdoor market featuring art of all types including painting, sculpture, pottery, jewelry and carvings. More than 50 artist showcase and sell their works on the shaded courthouse lawn. Come browse, shop and listen to the live music played at the market all afternoon. The art market is held the second Saturday of every month.
November 14 • 5:30-8:30pm • Downtown Square
Enjoy an evening of holiday cheer in historic Downtown San Marcos! The second annual event will feature a progressive tour of retail businesses serving a variety of wines, homemade wassail and paired hors d’oeuvres. Participants will receive a commemorative wine glass and enjoy live entertainment while strolling the downtown streets. You will also receive a free gift and are entered for a chance to win a wine tasting for ten from Dry Comal Creek Vineyards when you spend $20 or more at any local business. Please note, this is a 21+ event only. Purchase your $25 tickets now before the event sells out!
November 15 • 5:00-8:00pm • Dick’s Classic Garage Car Museum
On the third Saturday of every month, bring your classic, antique, muscle or unique car or bike to Dick’s Classic Garage for a fun evening of live music and grilled hamburgers from Henry’s Restaurant. Free museum admission after 5pm.
Dick's Classic Garage houses 80 classic American made from the 1900’s through the 1950’s. Enjoy a fun filled night of classic cars, live music and local eats.
CHILDREN’S PARK MURAL DEDICATION
November 22 • 11:00am • Children’s Park/Playscape
The four-sided mural at Children’s Park by artist Mabel Sirup has been completed. Come by and see the fanciful world of mermaids, historic figures and flying books. Play a game of I-spy and find the hidden creatures area artists added for fun. The Arts Commission will also be unveiling a sculptural bench at the same time. Enjoy refreshments after the dedication.
November 28-30 • Eye of the Dog Art Center
30 artists display their art - clay, painting, jewelry, textiles and more! There will be live music and a kid's clay play table, too. Free admission. Open Friday 6:00-9:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 12:00-4:00pm. Do your holiday shopping in a mellow, creative atmosphere.
