Unicycle Football is exactly as it sounds. American football played entirely on unicycles. They play a 5 on 5 "flackle" (flag/tackle) variant on hard surface. There are a few minor adjustments in the rules to accommodate being on a unicycle but it's good ol' American football as you know and love. Details here.

“The Outsiders” Theater Production

A classic hard-knocks interlude of embattled teenage outsiders and insiders. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton is the story of the "Greasers," who many think of juvenile delinquents or hoodlums, and the "Shoshes" who make up the popular crowd of cheerleaders and football jocks who have money, class and the better things in life. The story is set in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1960's. Tickets available here.
Veteran’s Day Parade

Honor all those who have served at the annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown San Marcos. Starting at 8:30am enjoy free breakfast, kid’s bike brigade and performances followed by the parade around the Courthouse Square.
Wine & Wassail Walk
5:30PM • SAN MARCOS DOWNTOWN SQUARE
Wine & Wassail Walk: Enjoy an evening of holiday cheer at the 2015 Wine and Wassail Walk. The third annual event features a progressive tour of retail businesses serving a variety of wines, homemade wassail and paired hors d’oeuvres. Participants will receive a commemorative wine glass and enjoy live entertainment while strolling the downtown streets. Please note this is a 21+ event only. Details and tickets available here.

Enjoy a juried outdoor art market featuring art of all types including painting, sculpture, pottery, jewelry and carvings. More than 40 artists showcase and sell their works on the shaded courthouse lawn. Come browse, shop and listen to the live music played at the market all afternoon. The art market is held the second Saturday of every month.
CAF Veteran’s Dinner & Swing Band Hangar Dance
6:00PM • COMMEMORATIVE AIR FORCE MUSEUM AT THE AIRPORT
Dance the night away to Big Band Swing music at the Annual Veteran's Day Dinner Dance presented by the CAF CENTX Wing. There will be a dance contest, bucket raffle and Silent Auction. Dinner begins at 6:00pm followed by Swing Dancing at 7:30pm. Details and tickets available here.
