Steampunk Poetry Night

7-9:30PM • STELLAR CAFE

Join Press Play Poets at Stellar Cafe for a special poetry open mic! Feel free to dress Steampunk and bring any creative works that have come from this inspiration! Poets come from all over Texas to perform and listen to fellow bards. (Steampunk outfit and poems are not required)

 

Third Thursday Downtown Walkabout

6-9PM • DOWNTOWN SQUARE

Every 3rd Thursday of join us downtown for an evening of music, food, drinks, and art as we celebrate our creative city. Stroll through historic downtown and visit local shops staying open later than usual. The event runs from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Look for lime dots at participating stores.

Farmers Market

9AM-1PM • DOWNTOWN SQUARE

San Marcos Farmer's Market provides an outlet for Central Texas farmers to market their crops as a source of fresh, homegrown and homemade products for the local consumer. Artists and makers also show and sell their work.

 

50 ValYOUS Exhibit Reception

4-8PM • THE WALKERS’ GALLERY

The exhibit, "Be You More: 50 ValYOUS, more than 100 artists" opens and Seattle artist, Eben Greene, will facilitate a mini ValYOUs workshop and the building of a TRUST tower. The San Marcos High School’s annual Empty Bowl project will take place at the same time with more than 200 hand made ceramic bowls for sale.

Art & Live Music Infusion

6:30-11PM • BUZZ MILL

Come see what all of the Buzzzzz is about! The artist community is coming together to bring you an infusion of live performance and art. 
The Buzzmill will be serving up all night while you immerse yourself in live glassblowing, poetry reading, spray painting, oil and canvas painting, musical performances, and visual displays. Artists will be vending their work for your pleasure.
