Palmer’s Restaurant and Bar is setting up for a year full of the luck the best way we know how – with food! Noodles and greens for longevity and health, carrots and peas for wealth, Black Eyed Peas for good luck and fish and pork for always moving forward!
Live music, a balloon drop and free champagne toast at midnight – is there any better way to ring in 2018? We think not!
This free New Year’s Eve party at The Marc is going to be amazing. Hosted by DJ Z & Ray C, you can count on drink specials, live music and many more surprises!
The Bill Middleton Band will be taking the stage at Middleton Brewing to end out 2017. Special beer will be tapped for the occasion and sparkling wine will start flowing around midnight. In addition to live music, craft beer and sparkling wine, you can also expect a stellar fireworks show and excellent food – that’s one heck of a party in our books!
If you’d like a fun-filled New Year’s Eve with a laid back vibe, we highly recommend dropping a (bowling) ball at The SPOT. They’ll have specialty packages that include discounted bowling, food and drink specials. Stick around till midnight for the champagne toast!
New Year's Day
New Year’s Day Spring Lake Hike
Meet in the Meadows Center Parking Lot (free for New Year’s Day) and hike approximately three miles to the overlook and then back down a different trail. This is a great moderate-level hike that is perfect for families. With an easy pace, there’s plenty of time to learn about the environment and see all the sights. Please leave your dogs at home so we don’t disturb the wildlife.
Polar Bear Plunge
This fun, and unsponsored, event takes place at noon on New Year's Day in Sewell Park. Bring a warm towel and clothes to bundle up in after a refreshing plunge in the beautiful San Marcos River!
