San Marcos is home to several excellent sports leagues and teams with the most recent addition being the Texas Charge, an affiliate professional fastpitch softball team competing in the National Pro Fastpitch league. The Charge provide elite softball players an opportunity to pursue a professional career right here in San Marcos, TX.
